Technology & Services expands in the US with opening of new locations in Nampa, Idaho
Exyte GmbH (Exyte), a global leader in the design, engineering, and delivery of high-tech facilities, is poised for a robust expansion trajectory in the USA. In line with its “follow-the-client” strategy, Exyte is ramping up its service and production network as well as its workforce in key strategic locations across the country. In the medium run, the company plans to create approximately 1,000 additional positions in the USA. With the official opening of its new regional office in Boise, Idaho, Exyte expands its national footprint to the Northwest.
Exyte’s Business Area Technology & Services (T&S) is expanding in the USA. Two subsidiaries of T&S – Diversified Fluid Solutions (DFS) and NEHP – will settle in Nampa, Idaho. The new production and office facilities will occupy a total space of over 300,000 square-feet and are expected to open in the fourth quarter 2024. Over the coming years, Exyte’s T&S segment will gradually expand its capacity. The two companies will cumulatively create more than 250 new full-time jobs in the Nampa and Treasure Valley area. The new locations will primarily serve US-wide semiconductor projects.
“This new campus in Nampa is an important milestone in our growth journey”, says Dr. Michael Löffelmann, Senior Vice President of Exyte’s Business Area Technology & Services. “As our semiconductor clients continue to invest in the U.S., we will expand our manufacturing capacities to support their growth. In our site selection process, it became clear that the State of Idaho, Canyon County, and the City of Nampa are committed to supporting our company expansion.”
Hundreds of local jobs in the technology sector
DFS designs and manufactures delivery systems for the semiconductor industry. Their current headquarter is located in Boise, Idaho. NEHP provides modular design and construction for semiconductor fab sub-systems. Nampa will be an addition to their already existing U.S. facilities located in Arizona, Texas, and Vermont.
“This announcement brings more than just high-paying jobs to Idaho, it also creates opportunities,” Idaho Department of Commerce Director Tom Kealey said. "It further solidifies Idaho as a leader in the semiconductor industry and provides Idaho and other U.S. companies with the supply chain needed to continue growing this industry well into the future. We share the City of Nampa’s excitement over this incredible expansion and are grateful that these industry leaders, their employees, and families call Idaho home.”
Strategic Expansion of Technology & Services
Exyte is currently pursuing its “Pathway to Ten”, the goal to achieve ten billion euros in sales by 2027 at the latest. T&S is expected to contribute significantly to the company’s success on the coming years. Recently, Exyte acquired CollabraTech Solutions, based in Phoenix, specializing in delivery systems and contract manufacturing service for high-tech facilities. This strategic move will be followed by the planned acquisition of Kinetics, a globally leading provider of installation services, equipment, and technical facility management.
